Sophie the Bear

This turned out to be a beautiful bear, though the pattern was quite a challenge. If you've made a bit of amigurumi before, then it's easy to figure out the mistakes of the pattern and correct them. I used a larger hook on my bear and baby yarn makes her so soft! A cute picot edging on the dress adds a touch of charm. The pattern for this bear is here: Suncatcher Eyes "Sophie the Bear."

Cookie Sammie

Cute little cookie sandwiches look just like Oreos or Oatmeal Cream Pies. While I was crocheting these I kept trying to take a bite. Don't let those faces fool you; they're not as tasty as they appear. This fun pattern is provided free at Ana Paula's "Little Cookie."

Simple Shroom House

A simple little house in the shape of a mushroom. Complete with a door and two windows. Perfect to compliment little dolls or animals. This is a free pattern available at Gnathalie "Maddie's Shroom House."

Little Not-so Nurse

A tiny little doll with a green dress, blond hair, and blue eyes. I'm starting to embroider the eyes on animals and dolls since these are going to go in Nana's Toy Box. The pattern for this cutie is from K and J Dolls "Little Nurse."

Toy Bunnies

I love this sack-shaped rabbit with his classic and plain look. I used ribbon around his neck instead of the suggested strand of yarn and worked the rounds continuously like amigurumi without joining. This pattern is found at Bernat "Toy Bunnies."

Square Bear

This small square bear was very quick to make. I'm starting to try out some of these animal and doll patterns I've collected. This bear pattern can be found at Lion Brand "Amigurumi Bear."

Proto-Zoe

I created this doll basic myself. I studied a lot of amigurumi patterns and video and even just the pictures of dolls to see how the proportions should look. There are many prototype failures laying in my crochet box. I finally came up with this design. I wanted a semi-formed hand, shoe-shaped feet, and swinging arms and legs that can dangle and pose. I kept my round-marking threads in each piece so when I make more it will help me figure out where to change colors. She turned out really cute and exactly what I wanted. Her name is Proto-Zoe.
